General info regarding headcanon... [WIP]

Given Lafarga is a character we barely see in game canon and only see a bit more in manga canon, I have a general set of headcanons I operate off of for RP's sake as I flounder about with him and try to pretend like I know what I'm doing. Though I try to keep some of these vague so as not to step on any toes, feel free to drop me a message if you'd like to work out any specifics for a thread!

    • I play Lafarga as a little over 1,000 years old. I like to think he was a very young seraph around the time Berseria occurred.

    • Lafarga joined Brad's mercenaries while the group was fairly new and is the reason they named themselves the Windriders. I like to think Brad was resonant and knowingly served as Lafarga's vessel, though I can also subscribe to the notion that Brad was non-resonant but was just highly religious and believed the wind was always with him.

    • Lafarga is familiar with Zaveid. Outside of this vague headcanon, my specific one is that Lafarga was the kid who got Zaveid's jacket in Berseria.

    • As described in canon, Dezel was under Lafarga's mentorship as a "brash young gun", which I take to mean that Dezel was either the seraph equivalent of a teenager or literally a teenager by number of actual years. My preferred, more specific headcanon is that Larfarga took Dezel in when he was a little younger, either left behind by Zaveid or handed over by Zaveid so he could go off to fulfill his various oaths.

    • We aren't told in canon what kind of weapon Lafarga wields, though I've settled on having him use a whip, as it's similar to pendulums but different enough to make things interesting. Won't even try to lie, this is some Indiana Jones shit right here...

    • Lafarga does enjoy alcohol, but not to the point of excess. It's his chosen job to watch over others and he can't do that if he's too tipsy. (This isn't to say I don't think he got into drunken fistfights in his youth; I like to think being kind of wild when he was young made it easier for him to get a handle on Dezel when he was going through a difficult phase.)

    • He's been with a few other seraphim over the years, but has never engaged in anything too serious in terms of romantic relationships. The winding road is his first love, only very nearly matched by his platonic love for his human family and Dezel.

    • I like to think he once served as a Sub Lord back in the days when Shepherds were more common. That was where his fascination and appreciation for humans started and why over the years he traveled with several groups of them on and off.
